MINUTES OF SELECTMEN MEETING – January 4, 2016 5:00 PM
Selectmen Present: Eric R. Munson, Jr., Steven DellaGiustina and Thomas Paine
Also Present: Kevin Donovan
Kevin presented the board with a letter to be sent to MBI on their behalf to secure the commitment of state and municipal funds for construction of the network. Included with the letter will be certified copies of the authorization by a 2/3’s town meeting vote allowing the town to borrow the total amount of the town’s estimated share of the project cost; and the approval of a debt exclusion in a town-wide vote, by majority, allowing the town to raise additional tax revenue to pay debt service on what it borrows. And affirmations of our intent to move forward as part of the MBI regional network build.
The Selectboard and Finance Committee will be meeting with the following department’s to discuss the Fiscal 2017 budget.
